1. What is „Coollaboratory Liquid Pro“ for?
“Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” is the best heat conductor for the dericavation of the lost heat on electronic components, which is available with the current state of the art. It’s most it’s commonly used to optimize the heattransition between CPU/GPU and cooler. But it’s possible to use it for every other electronic component, for example the grafic chip, too. Compared to the products which were sold up to now you get with the usage of “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” liquid metal in average 4° up to 7° lower temperatures. So compared with other pastes so profits are much bigger.
2. Are there restrictions for the usage of “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro”?
There are two facts to notice:
a) “Coollaboratory Liquid pro” liquid metal is inly developed for high grade coolers, whose contact area consists of cooper, nickel, silver or gold. It’s not suitable for the usage on aluminium coolers.
b) “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” liquid metal is electro-conductive. But when it’s used like it is written in our instruction that shouldn’t be a problem. The metallic contact area of the cooler conducts, too. “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” mustn’t applied on electronical contacts, conductor paths etc. .
3. Does “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” contain mercury? Is it toxic?
“Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” doesn’t contain mercury or other toxic heavy metals like plumb or cadmium. It’s nontoxic, not flammable, not explosive and doesn’t form smoke. The safety data sheet according to 93/112/EG you can order.
4. Is it possible, that “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” runs from the hardware? Do I have to lute the borders between CPU and cooler? Is it possible to install the cooler vertical?
“Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” adheres because of the active adhesion. If the product was applied very thin like it’s described in our instruction and everything was used according to the regulations, it isn’t possible that “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” runs from your hardware. It doesn’t matter, in which position CPU/GPU and the cooler are. A seal isn’t necessary.
5.How much of “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” do I need for one appliance?
That depends on the size of the cooler and of the size of your coolers’ contact area. On contact areas, which are grinded very fine, you need less of the product than on areas, which aren’t grinded fine. Normally a very small drop like the size of half a rice grain is enough. So the volume of one shot should be enough for several aplliances.
6. How do I have to apply “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro”?
The best solution is to elapse “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” with a small brush like paint.
(You can also read it in our instructions.).
7. For how long does one usage last?
Limitless, there is no date of expiry.
8. Between which temperatures is Coollaboratory Liquid Pro working?
Starting with absolut zero to more than 1000° C. It´s good suitable for compressor cooling, peltiers too.
9. How is it possible to remove “Coollaboratory Liquid Pro” from the CPU and the contact
area of the cooler, for example before I will sell it?
We advise polishing-paste for cleaning, like the ones you use to clean the parts of the car, which are made of chrome. Another possibility is the using of pads specially made for grinding metal (It’s described in the instruction.) . Unsuitable are organic solvents how aceton, alcohol or benzine.
