Facebook has officially denied media reports alleging that the social networking giant is developing its own phone brand.
The company maintains that it is interested in Facebook integration on mobile phones, but nothing more than that.
“Whenever we work on deep integration people want to call it a 'Facebook phone',” said a company spokesperson.
Facebook claims that its basic strategy is to make everything “social” and not just build one phone with such a platform. That would be Apple’s job.
