AMD say it is delayed but not cancelled.
Earlier in the week we posted about the AMD Phenom II X4 960T claiming overclockers had unlocked cores and overclocked it on air to 4.2GHz.
Some sites then reported that the processor was cancelled as it did not appear on AMD's release schedule, however it seems the processor is merely delayed and will go on for sale later on the year.
The AMD Phenom II X4 960T is based on the latest Thuban core and brings new features such as a higher clockspeed in applications that do not require all cores to be active for best performance depending on thermal and power headroom.
