if you put lots of expectation on x48, then you are gonna get lots disappointment again, think about x48 is MERELY hand pick version of X38, so why bother:)

The question is - how did X48 been picked? Better OC capability? Or just for some other reasons? Somebody still thinking X48 supposed the better OC toys, hopefully the new testing board GA X48-DQ6 can prove this point.

ok, as I know x48 wil have full control over all 31 performance levels and therefore, there is no more Transaction Booster offset, what you enter will be what you get; also from the hardware perspective you will get 4 channel clock skew as well.
Also we asked the to unlock TRD Phase adjust manually, this will be done as well as you have seen from DFI UT p35 T2R bios afteer 0913;)

Last thing I will assume is that GTL to each die, they are using a resistor ladder and will need to upgrade the whole circuit, asus's x48 board will be the king of x48...but well still..qx9xxx still have problem for running 500fsb+ though.:)

Can we assume ASUS X48 BIOS is still under fine tuning for better quad OC? If not, yes, you are right, no any other good reasons waiting for X48.

lol ok x48 will be ready soon and will be released very carefully in terms of tunning lol, think about qx9650 is just released, and so is x38. Definitely, there is lot more room for x38 even x48 for improvement :)

your concept is on the right track, however, we gotta give some time for mobo manufacture.:)

OK. Hopefully ASUS next time not releasing big bugs X48 boards to power users. The new chipsets and CPU's changing really too fast, this requires time for debugs and tuneups.

What a person living in Taiwan (especially southern Taiwan) have to say is - ASUS, just don't sell us the most expensive prices and the lates releases. OPB, I really envy you're living in US, anything best in US markets.

也就是說,我把bios一些memory細部參數放auto跟手調差在那?

首先看:

環境:

1.OS: windows xp sp2 & win2k3 original
2.PSU: PC P&C 1200w
3.vga: evga 8500gt
4.ram: Team Group DDR3 14400
5.MOBO: Maximus extreme 0702 bios
6.cooler: Cooler Master hyper 212
7. HD: WD Raptor III 150g 10k rpm adfd

首先看看完全沒校調的狀況@ xp, no maxmem等等 tweaks:
概略資料:

還算不錯,1.32v 4.2g;)

1:2除頻ddr1600跑6-5-5沒啥問題(各為請注意,我show 1m並不是只能跑1m:))

再來這是跑bios all auto的狀況:

好;)因為這是狂少的3D測試碟,不太想去攪給spi用,那我們續看換到win 2k3;並且我們來看看是不是qx9650加x38真的高頻上不去?以基本盤4g而言, 445x9是嗎?...我們ram也不要飆高
就DDR712跑6-5-5 1t,很可惜, cpuz和memset還是無法顯示正確command:
而且怪事來了,我先前用1.7v北橋跑400x10...到9x445不開...各位會覺得是啥?
北橋太低?錯....是要把北橋降到1.65以下...哇咧...這是不通的,但是只有一個理由,就是燙

那大家覺得平平用4g跑32m..445x9跟400x10差多少?
很多...

如果再機車一點,優化一下...我看又有人說我作假了...

請教狂少大一下,記憶體細部參數(除了標準的444-12或555-15外的參數...),在P965與P35和X38是不是設定上不一樣!?

也就是說不能通用囉!?有可能同樣設定但是在P35可以跑,到X38卻不能跑了嗎?;rr;

記憶體部分是不是還沒調整完?感覺好鬆喔,竟然有看到50這個數字...

老弟....:D
1.先看好...這是DDR3..
2.chipset不同,當然參數調整上會不同
但是主要部分是同一觀念
比如說

965和p35是同一系, 975和x38是同一系
先決條件是要看你對晶片組定義的瞭解

基本上p35/x38可說是前一代p965/975的fix版
普遍上來說除頻上多了選擇..

TRFC在ddr1400~1600 5:8用45~50...不是那麼的鬆哦;)
不會調,有時連60都不見得可以開機;)
