Can anybody test the performance in Dothan. I believe a dothan 2.0GHz should do better than 955XE in this kind of workload.

that should beat FX60 w/o oc.

I can't find adobe acrobat 7.0 pro, or I can test in my notebook now. :(

FX60 IS the highest end processor in the world, but doesn't mean it can do EVERYTHING best.

For this pure integer, single threaded workload like this, I expect Dothan 2.6G(200*13) can do a little better than FX60, giving the condition of same frequency(2.6 vs. 2.6), larger and faster L2 cache, almost the same memory BW/latency and a little more efficient integer core.

我也滿想知道Dothan的表現是不是會比自家的955XE強 ;tongue;

期待Dothan的數據+1
不過V大
比同時脈性能不是光靠L2 cache,momery BW/latency就可以看出端睨
還有a little more efficient integer core出自何處哩??

恩,就我所看過的測試網站評比,一般 dothan 能小勝過 754 k8,但是比上 939 的 k8,還是 939 k8 小勝 dothan,雖然"32bit 整數"方面還是互有勝負,但是 939 k8 還是勝出比較多的評比項目。更遑論 64bit 所帶來的性能增長。
