EP-AF570+ Ultra is tailored to accomodate high end CPU coolers and watercooling blocks that typically take up real estate on a mainboard. For example, the chipset is well placed away from the CPU area allowing more for heavy duty CPU coolers. CPU socket components have been carefully selected for this same purpose. In addition, memory slots are placed at an optimized distance from CPU, making space for high end memory modules with thicker heatplate and display features.
Technicalities
For more stable performance and higher overclocking margin EP-AF570+ Ultra uses 4-phase CPU power design coupled with solid state silicon capacitors. All this ensures the CPU gets enough uninterrupted juice in extreme overclocking situations. As for the chipset, the chipset is cooled with a large heatsink mounted with high quality two-ball-bearing active cooling fan. This simple design ensures low noise operating environment with longer lifetime. Under normal circumstances the large heatsink guarantees the chipset is sufficiently cooled should the chipset fan fails. For overclocking, the EP-AF570+ Ultra features frequency adjustment for CPU, memory and PCI-E. Most importantly, there is a bevy of voltage adjustment features for chipset, CPU and DIMM (including over 3.0V for memory voltage!) and HTT bus.
