MD Carrizo graphics to double perf of compared to Kaveri?
There are some leaked SiSoft Sandra benchmark results of AMD's Carrizo APU in their online database, the new chip is mostly aiamed at the notebooks segment, but it seems it will provide a big boost in integrated graphics performance. If the SiSoft data is accurate, Carrizo is about twice as fast as Kaveri and three times faster than Intel's Iris Pro. Carrizo scores 606.64Mpix/s in the SiSoft Sandra GP (GPU/CPU/APU) Processing test, a level that can be compared with the Radeon R7 265, a card that offers roughly the same graphics performance as the chip inside the PlayStation 4. An A10 7850K scores around 270 Mpix/s while Intel’s HD5200 Iris Pro scores a more modest 200 Mpix/s. The new mobile APU will be manufactured with the same 28nm process as Kaveri, with power consumption up to 35W for the Carrizo down to a maximum of 15W for the ultra-mobile Carrizo-L parts.

測試分數大概是 Kaveri 的2倍,Intel Iris Pro的3倍
Carrizo: 606.64 Mpix/s
Kaveri(A10 7850K ): 270 Mpix/s
HD 5200 Iris Pro: 200 Mpix/s
這樣的成績大概可以R7 265 同等級 (R7 265 是 1024 sp)

根據3D Mark Fire Strike測試,A10 7850K大概是1400分
假設Carrizo成績為真,估算3D Mark Fire Strike
Carrizo/Kaveri = (606.64/270)x1400 = 3145分
桌面板的 R7 265(獨顯HD7850) 是 4700
很符合筆電的Carrizo APU 是相當於桌面板的 R7 250(HD7770 HD6850)
國外網站是寫 約獨顯7850效能 不管是高估還是低估 先暫時以低估的的角度去思考
注意喔 Carrizo還是28nm製程
Carrizo APU 筆電15~35W就有 7770獨顯的效能
Carrizo APU 若是用在桌電95W的話會是多少?
如果是運用在14nm的話?
若相同的技術套用在200~300W呢?
