silentpcreview test this power supply it show:
Output 240VAC Input 120VAC Input
Power Efficiency Power Efficiency

250W 280W 89.3% 289W 86.5%
300W 340W 88.2% 350W 85.7%
500W 585W 85.5% 612W 81.7%
so what will happen now? you will test this power supply and show above test data is wrong. anyone can make statement, but can you back it up?

by compare the test data, it show that silentpc review use different loading system, there are difference by how do you load the voltage rail.
for example: silentpc review load 29.3A for 12 volt total
and 80plus program use 41.2 A. even the total power is same, that may explain the efficiency data are not same, but there are quite close. it show 82.00% on 80 plus on 100% load. i like 80 plus program better, becasue it has written test protocol.
Please, enough is enough, you have no data to back your opinions, can you show me the evidence of so call "Golden sample"?
by the way, I am not working for "保銳", I am a service engineer for cell phone company. in our field, you must have test data behind your opinions all the time.

其實測試條件不同~本來就不一樣
一方面來講~有人可以測出88%
那就表示我已經輸了啊^^
因為他說最高88%
我就算測試不出來
也...只是我測試不出來
你上面提的
我沒有證據
不過
幾個疑問點
那網站的測試我後來有過去看
我僅以你貼上來的資料部分來回答你我懷疑是黃金樣品的原因
1.
測試是用625W的
他輸入用612能夠有DC輸出500W
還不到DC625W的100%輸出
500/625=80%的LOAD而已
80% LOAD就已經掉到81.7%
只能想見100%會掉到更低了
我是有點懷疑100%LOAD的時候,可能會掉到80%以下的效率

而最高效率出現在於輸出250W的地方
(雖然沒有更低瓦數輸出的資料可以佐證)
(250/625W)*100%=>40%的地方
這有點偏移50%
不過屬於正常範圍啦

基本上瓦數是以DC部分實際輸出來計算
基於以上兩點
以他這樣的狀況~可以推測到一點很好玩的東西
我推測
這一系列的架構最適合的是500W左右
所以假設下面兩點
625W是在100%的地方很難通過82%的標準
425W是在20%的地方很難通過82%的標準
另外有另外一點證據就是
為什麼525W一下子就通過了
625W跟425W卻會晚兩個月才通過銅牌
而之前出現的普通625W 425W 80+資料
就更證明這一點
因為大部分的80+同一系列網站上測試通過的時間點都差不多
很少像是保銳差異兩個月的
但是後來又過了銅牌?
我也更可以合理懷疑是重送調整後的黃金樣品了
不過卻還是缺少更多數據資料來證實
如果有20%LOAD左右的測試資料
那我推測效率應該低於40%LOAD 250W的時候
數值該會類似60%LOAD
還是保銳今天是以輸入瓦數當作型號送測呢???
如果是這樣625W實際上就是市售"500W"
你所指出的網站應該不會犯這種基本上的錯誤
既然都可以測試到80%LOAD
WHY沒有100%LOAD的測試

when the test check efficency by load more current on 12 volt, the result will be higher due to rest voltages(5v, 3.3v are convert from 12 volt), that is why silentpc review efficenty test has lower reading, it has 12 A difference on 12 volt between the two tests.
for occt test, the 12 volt stright line is not even close to right, every voltage rail has internal resistance(the wire, connector, internal Resistor of MOSFET). even the total R is 0.001 OHM, there will be 0.01Volt difference if psu output 10 A current.
To Colt 375TW:
I always get jealous when there is the new test equipment tha I can't get my hand on, if i have one right now, I will put antec smart power PSU in the heat chamber and warm it up th 50 degree c and run the 100% load test and hope blow something up, so I can tell my boss stop buy the ANTEC smart power and get silverstone.
